Can't Connect to Server
Having trouble connecting? Let's figure out what's wrong and fix it.
Quick Checklist
1. Is your server running? (Check the panel)
2. Are you using the correct IP and port?
3. Is your Minecraft version correct?
4. If modded: Do you have the same mods installed?
Common Errors & Solutions
"Can't connect to server"
| Cause | Solution |
|---|---|
| Server is not running | Go to the panel and click Start |
| Wrong IP or port | Copy the exact address from your panel dashboard |
| Server is still starting | Wait 1-2 minutes and try again |
| Firewall blocking connection | Try disabling your firewall temporarily |
"Outdated server" or "Outdated client"
Your Minecraft version doesn't match the server version.
- Check your server's Minecraft version in the panel
- Launch Minecraft with the matching version
- In the launcher, click "Installations" → Create new → Select correct version
"Failed to verify username" / "Invalid session"
| Cause | Solution |
|---|---|
| Using TLauncher on a premium server | Ask the server owner to enable offline mode |
| Minecraft session expired | Restart Minecraft and log in again |
| Mojang servers are down | Check status.mojang.com |
"Connection timed out"
- The server might be overloaded - wait and try again
- Your internet connection might be unstable
- Try restarting your router
"Mod mismatch" / "Missing mods"
You're trying to join a modded server without the correct mods.
- Find out which modpack the server is running
- Install the exact same modpack using CurseForge or Prism Launcher

Even having one extra or missing mod can prevent you from joining. Use the same modpack version as the server.
"You are banned from this server"
The server operator has banned your account. Contact them to appeal.
"Server is full"
The server has reached its player limit. Wait for someone to leave or ask the owner to increase the limit.
Is the Server Actually Online?
Check in the panel:
- Go to panel.modready.gg
- Click on your server
- Look at the status - it should say "Running"

If it says "Offline" or "Stopped":
- Click Start to start the server
- Wait for it to fully start (check the console)
- Look for "Done!" in the console - then it's ready
Still Can't Connect?
If nothing above works, try these steps:
- Restart your server from the panel
- Restart Minecraft completely
- Restart your computer (clears network issues)
- Try a different network (mobile hotspot, different WiFi)
